The Municipality of Sugpon has started its preparation for the launching of the Safety Seal Certification Program by convening representatives from its implementing offices to discuss guidelines and strategies.

The program aims to provide public offices and business establishments in Sugpon the safety seal as manifestation of its compliance to minimum public health standards while conducting business.

It also encourages the public to download and use the digital contact tracing application StaySafe.ph.
With the move of the national government to gradually reopens economy despite the threat of COVID-19, the Safety Seal Certification provides the monitoring and control mechanism to ensure that gains from the fight against the pandemic are not taken for granted.

Public offices and business establishments will be evaluated and will be given the seal if found compliant to the public health standards.

The safety seal will give clients the increased confidence to transact business with an establishment.
In Sugpon, revocation of business permits and licenses is inevitable for non-compliance as discussed during the deliberation.
The evaluation of business establishments will commence in Licungan in July 12 after public offices have been evaluated.
