Licungan, Sugpon, Ilocos Sur — March 6, 2026

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Sugpon, Ilocos Sur successfully conducted a three-day government service caravan in Barangay Licungan, bringing essential programs and services closer to the community. The activity featured the joint Tax Information, Education and Collection Campaign of the Municipal Treasurer’s Office (MTO) and the Municipal Assessor’s Office (MASSO), agricultural assistance from the Municipal Agriculture Office in partnership with the Provincial Agriculture Office, TUPAD profiling by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), voter registration and updates by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) inspections, inspection and evaluation of KALAHI-CIDSS sub-projects, road network measurement and project inspection by the Municipal Engineering Office, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training conducted by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

The activity also included a Family Development Session and program updates for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries, reinforcing the LGU’s commitment to delivering accessible, responsive, and people-centered public service. Through collaborative efforts among various government agencies and offices, the municipality continues to ensure that even the most remote communities receive the services and support they need.
