Palay Distribution Held for RSBSA-Registered Farmers in Sugpon, Ilocos Sur

In line with the government’s continuing efforts to support the agricultural sector, the Municipality of Sugpon successfully conducted the distribution of unmilled rice (palay) today, May 22, 2025, to farmers who are registered under the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA).
The activity took place at the designated distribution area and was spearheaded by the Municipal Agriculture Office, with the support of various local officials. The palay distribution aims to assist farmers in their upcoming planting season and help ease the burden of high production costs.
Present during the event was Mayor Daniel C. Laño, who expressed his full support for the agricultural programs of the municipality. In his brief message, he commended the dedication of Sugpon’s farmers and emphasized the local government’s commitment to providing continuous assistance to help improve their livelihoods.
