The Rural Health Unit (RHU) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) unit in Sugpon are now officially compliant and the first of their kind to heed to the requirements of the Safety Seal Certification Program in Ilocos Sur.
The Safety Seal Certification Program is a collaborative effort of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) which evaluate and monitors government offices and business establishments to be compliant of the minimum public health standards against COVID-19.
Members of the safety seal evaluation board which is made up of representatives from DILG, Bureau of Fire (BFP), and PNP have conducted their occular inspections yesterday, and subsequently awarded the safety seal certification to the said units for complying all requirements.
On the other hand, the Local Government Unit of Sugpon is set to be evaluated today and aims to be the first compliant of the program in the bracket of municipalities.
Candon City is the first compliant of the safety seal certification in the category of cities.
