The Pacaoan ridge provides a good spot for viewing the sunset and if you’re lucky enough, the sunset becomes so colorful and dramatic.The Pacaoan ridge is also perfect for viewing a sea of clouds early in the morning aside from sunset viewing in the afternoon.

DANAC BURIAL CAVE

The village (barangay) of Danac has also a burial cave. A coffin and animal bones are seen at the entrance of the cave. There is no exploration has ever made so far on this burial cave.

This waterfall flows directly down to the Amburayan River. The best spot to see this falls is at Brgy Danac, Sugpon, Ilocos Sur.

One of the most panoramic rice terraces in Sugpon is in Sitio Leglegan in Barangay Caoayan. The Amburayan River provides a perfect backdrop for the rice terraces.

One of the bigger rice terraces in Sugpon is in the small village (sitio) of Pacaoan in Barangay Caoayan.

BANGA TRAMLINE

BANGA TRAMLINE

One of the very few tramlines in Ilocos Sur. It connects the village of Lotaan to the main road at Tayab in Banga, Sugpon, Ilocos Sur.

This area in Licungan, Sugpon, Ilocos Sur is perfect for aerial viewing of the Amburayan River and for pitching of tents for hikers. Sunrise is always so fantastic and magical to watch and experience from Bilig. One has to be here before sunrise to experience how beautiful sunrise can be.
